Colorado Fireworks Tournament Updates
TEAM CHECK-IN for 2011 Monday, June 27th from 8:00am-4:30pm (Aurora Sports Park "B" Complex), all teams must be checked in by the 4:30pm deadline .
MANDATORY COACHES MEETING for 2011: Monday, June 27th at 5:30pm, @ Denver Marriott Tech Center 4900 S. Syracuse St., Denver, CO 80237 303-779-1100. . The mandatory coaches meeting is not intended to inconvenience anyone. While the coaches meeting is independent of the team check-in, it is intended to provide a venue in which important information may be passed without the distraction of check-in activities.

2011 Triple Crown Sports 4th of July CO Fireworks entry forms are on the web site now (please make note there are two different ones you will need to fill out). This tournament is an ASA registered invitational tournament. Dates for the 2011 CO Fireworks will be (Wed.) June 29 through (Sun.) July 3, 2010. Once again at least 50% of roster must be 2011 or 2012 grads (for 18 under teams) and 2013 or 2014 grads (for 16 under teams) in order to be eligible to particiapte in the Fireworks. NO player that has attended a 4 year college is eligible to play in the senior (18-under) division of the tournament. Mandatory Coaches Meeting and Team Check-In is on Monday, June 27th 2011.

2011 Fireworks College Exposure All-Star Games: New to the Fireworks in 2010. Exclusive to players playing in the Fireworks tournament. The All-Star games are an invitation only event. Players will receive an email invitation if they are selected to participate. For questions contact audrey@triplecrownsports.com. There is an additional individual fee to participate.

NO person (2010 grad) that was enrolled in a 4 year college will be allowed to participate in the 2011 tournament. We are hoping that this change will allow for more girls to be seen & signed to scholarships. All 2011 (spring) high school grads that have signed to play in college for the 2011-12 season ARE eligible to play in the 2011 CO Fireworks.
Teams are reminded of the roster deadline to be entered on the team page on our tournament web site by May 16, 2011. Please include the most recent information about ACT/SAT or PSAT scores & GPA (based on a 4.0 system - if they are on a different system please indicate that or if GPA is a weighted one). Team pictures are due by May 30, 2011.
College coaches are reminded to register for a tournament packet from January 1 to June 1, 2011. The hotels and car rental agencies we are using are listed on our web site in the 2011 Tournament file on the bottom of the screen. There were almost as many coaches who did not register as who did. This makes it difficult for us to provide you with a coaches packet. Please register by May 1st so that we can provide the most information to you and to include you school in the list of schools that are attending the tournament.
